The club provides regular articles for the Rollestonian and has members in the village. It therefore seemed appropriate to reproduce them here (and any other news) for those interested in this local club.
Winter 2012 News
(This article is taken from Rollestonian - Winter 2012 issue)
We would like to say a Big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our charity event on Friday 21st September at the Village Hall, Tutbury. Due to our Fashion Show by "BONITA" of Tutbury and generous donations received locally, we managed to raise a huge £1000 for The Midlands Air Ambulance.
We are excited to announce our Charity Event for 2013 will be an evening with the "Dale Diva" choir so make sure you write it down on your new year Calendar for Friday 20th September.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and we look forward to meeting everyone again in the New Year.

If you have a passion for Flowers, Flower Arranging or any Floral Crafts then why not join us at Tutbury Flower Club?
We welcome everyone to our club, experienced arrangers and beginners alike. We have many years of Flower Arranging experience with some of our members competing at the highest levels.
Starting at 7:30pm, we meet on the second Wednesday of every month at The Institute on High Street in Tutbury, which has its own bar offering refreshments during our meetings. We alternate between Floral Demonstrations which show us how the professionals do it and Hands-on Workshops which give us chance to create our own individual masterpieces to take home and impress our friends and family with.
We also have Events planned to raise funds for this year’s chosen charity which is the Air Ambulance Service. We have raised a substantial amount of money for charity with last year, being no exception, making over a thousand pounds for The Donna Louise Childrens' Hospice Trust.
Our annual coach trips take us to visit beautiful places like Chatsworth House where they often have their own calendar of Floral Events for us to enjoy and we always finish the year off with a Christmas themed trip to get us into the festive spirit.
Our Open Meeting in The Village Hall at the end of the year is also very popular as we always have a well known National Demonstrator for everyone to enjoy. If you think Tutbury Flower Club is for you, or you would just like to try us out, do not hesitate to come along and join us. You will always receive a friendly welcome.
Visitors are asked to pay a fee of £4.00 per visit but if you wish to become a member for the whole year, it is just £20.00 which works out at less than £2.00 per visit.
If you require any further information, please contact our secretary on 01283 813 856.
