At the time of writing we are busy preparing for the start of the new season. The group has grown considerably with a 100 plus children from the age of 6 upwards training each week at Craythorne Playing fields. Nine teams have been registered to play within the Burton Junior football League starting in September.

May was a busy month for us, taking part in tournaments, running “Beat the Goalie” at the Scout Carnival, our Presentation Night where all the registered players received a trophy presented by Dale Anderson (Burton Albion) and finally a group of youngsters and their families went to Skegness for the weekend to participate in a tournament. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and plans are underway to repeat the event in 2005.
