After many months of planning the outcome was another blooming great day on August Bank Holiday Monday. Adding to the attractions this year was some village archive material that formed part of the exhibition put on by the Staffordshire Record Office in July. The weather might have been kinder but those that turned out weren't disappointed. In the evening Len Torr used his unique personality to auctioneer the produce to the highest bidder. Proceeds from the event were shared equally between St. Mary’s Church and the Club.
