Fountains High School Duck Race
Sunday 25 April, 2pm Rolleston Brook

A large crowd turned out to support the event with one lucky winner receiving £50 for first place. Second prize was £25 and third £10 (£1 to sponsor a duck). The rector Ian Whitehead set off the first heat by releasing the ducks from the bridge, and having overcome several obstacles, the first few started arriving a few minutes later at the finish. There were also stalls, refreshments and plant swap by the Civic Trust and WI.
