Eight hundred yellow plastic ducks took to the water in the de Ferrers PSFA Annual Duck Race starting at 1pm, with the first duck past the line winning its 'owner', Mrs D Jolly, £75. Second prize was £50 along with prizes for the winner of each heat. There were a number of other games and stalls all helping to raise a total of £1,000 for the school.
