Newsletter - Summer 2012

Having had a successful exhibition at Burton Library in March the club members are looking forward to their next exhibition there 15 - 27 October. Not forgetting, of course, the four day Art and Crafts Exhibition in Rolleston to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. In the meantime we are following the club's programme of ideas for things to paint and draw The club dinner is in May. At the end of June we will emerge into the sunshine, hopefully, and do outdoor sketching and painting until we start back inside at the Methodist Church in September on Monday evenings. Newsletter - Spring 2012

Members are now preparing for our exhibition at Burton Library which runs for two weeks from Monday 5th March. The club has always had good comments made about the standard and variety of the pictures exhibited. In particular one member has now a following for his pictures paintings of old Burton. Meanwhile we are following the spring programme which include evenings on drawing portraits, spring flower abstracts and the whole group giving advice to members on their work in progress.
