Art club members have a new exhibition for you at the Brewhouse (bar/bistro area). There will be watercolours, landscapes, animal paintings, portraits and many other subjects for you to enjoy. All will be for sale so you can choose that one that takes your fancy for yourself or for that special present.

Newsletter - Autumn 2008

The summer is now over unless it is Indian. The Club members are looking forward to the autumn club meetings at Stretton Methodist Church Schoolroom on a Monday evening raring to put some of the summer ideas and sketches into real pictures and get them ready for the club's Christmas Show at the Brewhouse from Sat 29th November until Sat 20th December. What else are they looking forward to? Why demonstrations by Charles Evans (oils) and David Coupe. plus a varied weekly theme if they run out of ideas.

Newsletter - Summer 2008

The Club's Annual Summer Exhibition at the Brewhouse will be from Saturday 24th May until Saturday 21st June this year. From previews of paintings shown at the club's regular 'Art Appreciation' nights this year's showing will be better than ever. Members are also looking forward to their annual dinner which will be at the Cock Inn, Hanbury. For June, July and August club members meet at locations outside and around Burton sketching and painting the local countryside and villages and weather permitting will return to club nights in September armed with plenty of projects to pursue.
